Premier League Top 4 Finish Betting Odds

Premier League Top 4 finish odds update for Manchester City, United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Leicester:

Manchester City are as usual rank favourites to take the 2020-21 Premier League title with odds of 1000/1 (WilliamHill) what with the gap widening to as much as 15 points and more over their nearest rivals. So, the tussle to finish in the Top Four will be between teams like Manchester United, Leicester City, Liverpool, West Ham United and Chelsea.

Manchester United look the side most secure apart from City to stay inside the Top Four till the end of the season.

Ole Solksjaer's Red Devils have been spectacular on the road where they have managed to win 11 of their 14 encounters so far. So, all they have to do is keep on winning their away games and do the same in a few at home.

Their performance at home at Old Trafford could be of some concern for their fans having lost 4 of their 13 outings at the venue including a humiliating defeat to Sheffield United in late January.

All bookmakers odds quoted are general, subject to change and were correct as of 04/03/2021.

Liverpool are the third favourites of the bookmakers to finish in the Top Four. This they believe could happen at the expense of currently 4th placed West Ham United who are not considered good enough to be in that space despite one of their best performances ever in the Premier League so far.

What gives the bettors more confidence about Liverpool is the return of some their key players from injury in the form of the very prolific young attacker Diogo Jota and the ever-dependable Fabinho.

Moreover, after a string of unexpected defeats, the Reds may have troughed out and could be back to winning ways soon. So, despite their place in the 6th spot currently, they are only 2 points removed from the Top 4, a gap they intend to fill in due course.

Liverpool odds for Top Four finish

  • SkyBet: 4/9
  • PaddyPower: 8/15
  • WilliamHill: 4/7
  • BetFair: 8/15
  • BetVictor: 2/7

Leicester City are the bookmakers' fourth favourites to finish in the Top Four. Brendan Rodgers' men look comfortably placed in the space for the time being with a lead of 4 points over fourth-placed West Ham United.

What's been worrying for Leicester is their abysmal home form in the ongoing season.

Compared to their astonishingly good away record 9W/4D/1L, their statistics at King Power read 6W/1D/6L. The Foxes’ last Premier League encounter at the venue was a 1-3 loss to a somewhat struggling Arsenal side.

Before that, they were knocked out of the Europa League 0-2 by a not very formidable Slavia Praha side.

But with the players of the caliber of Jamie Vardy and in-form young talent in James Maddison and Harvey Barnes, things are expected to turn out well for Leicester going ahead.

Leicester City odds for Top Four finish

  • SkyBet: 2/3
  • PaddyPower: 4/6
  • WilliamHill: 1/2
  • BetFair: 4/6
  • BetVictor: 4/7

The way the bookmakers' 5th favourite Chelsea are going under new boss Thomas Tuchel, it would be surprising for them to not finish in the Top Four…and it would in fact astonish nobody if they were to pip Leicester City to the spot.

This could be more to do with Leicester's performance going ahead and less because of Chelsea's winning momentum. Chelsea had profited immensely from the Foxes' dismal form towards the end of the previous season.

Brendan Rodgers' outfit managed just 3 wins from their last 10 outings of the season and succumbed to defeats in four. Chelsea have had a great run of nine unbeaten games under Tuchel and if they can keep this momentum going, they are in line to pip West Ham to the Final 4 by the time the season ends. But they will have Leicester and Liverpool to contend with before that.

Chelsea odds for Top Four finish

  • SkyBet: 1/1
  • PaddyPower: 1/1
  • WilliamHill: 5/6
  • BetFair: 1/1
  • BetVictor: 1/1
